Before Eastside Cycles, the closest bike stores were either in West End, Hendersonville or Opry Mills. It's great to have one in the neighborhood.
East Nashville is very bikable. With a grid of streets, and limited connections to other parts of town, the streets are very bike-friendly. Shelby bottoms also provides 5 miles of paved path for neighborhood long-rides.
